The Hand of Fear
So - the infamous Sarah is Kicked to the Curb Ep. I did not recall which on that was when I started it so I was sad at the end. I enjoyed the Sarah - Four era 500% more than I did as a child. I most definitely didn't "get" Four back then. I recall the Four- Leela eps much more and I didn't like how they related as a kid. It made me see Four as cold and borderline mean. As I recall the actors did not get along at all. Clearly I vibed that as a kid.
I do not remember seeing this one as a kid. It's quite a roller coaster.
I don't think they are at all clear on how radiation works. Four is adorably worried about Sarah throughout.
The end is a little disconcerting. Sarah starts complaining about TARDIS life for out of nowhere. Threatens to pack and leave while Four is messing with the console and doesn't hear. She actually packs and then he gets the call to Gallifrey. So he drops her off in the wrong place natch.
Was very much how they did send offs in Classic Who. BTW I'm out of here. TTFN.

Well that's one way to start
These costumes are a LOOK. I think it was called we really needed to use up all this fabric... Also we demolished our makeup budget so no one gets to show skin. Or faces.
Quarry. (Bingo card activated).
Four actually even says we're in a Quarry. Double points.
I guess TARDIS's no-materializing-in-an-active-demolition-site button was broken again.
Though apparently Four's "I know what a quarry is but not what demo siren is" button was broken too.
Why do I think Sarah's little jumpsuit is unbearably cute even though it looks more like something a toddler would wear. The 1970s everyone.
"Does [Sarah] normally go around knocking people out." Probably should have hanging around with Four.
Fun with nuclear reactors. Looks like Science(TM) will be happening in this one.
Part 2:
This power plant seems very light on security.
Creepy crawling hand. So which came first this ep or Thing from the Adams Family.
Power plant boss: This rando girl who wandered in is either a suicidal activist or a homicidal terrorist. No inbetweens.
Sarah amusingly unhinged in this.
This plant is so high tech.
Includes: high tech security cameras with a convenient off button right on them.
Pretty rainbow dials that you can spin.
Eldrad is kinda bad at directing his followers. Swinging a wrench wildly at someone on a thin winding stair. What could possibly go wrong.
Four: We hung out in a reactor but it's cool we're in decontamination. Yeah that's how it works. (Of course the magic Thing hand had sucked up all the radiation but Four didn't know that when he said it. )
Four doing some Time Lord mind mojo on Sarah.
Now I've got "I want to hold your hand" running through my head lol.
Blasting things with your magic power ring in a power plant seems like a bad idea. Just saying.
Wait I thought he'd already evacuated the plant. Apparently all he did the first time was send his assistant home and call the family to say goodbye. Hmmm
Part 3:
Control room: *explodes* *shower of black... dirt?*
Um what?
Four: that was an unexplosion
Everyone: an unexplosion?!?
Four: yes instead of going out *brings hands together* it went inwards *spreads hands apart*
Is Tom's way of saying This is the stupidest dialog ever?
Yes, let's now drop a bomb on the power plant what could go wrong. And let's watch from half a mile away. Seems legit.
Hmm didn't expect Eldrad to be so *sparkly*
Sarah and the Doctor tell each other they worry about each other. Awww
Still using the wood console room. Cool.
Four seems so over this.
Oh back on the Too Much Fabric Planet.
Part 4:
They spend a lot of time dragging Eldrad around.
So they upgraded from the quilted too much fabric look (bedding sale?)
to shiny too much fabric look.
Eldrad is really good at planking also.
Kind of a crappy send off for Sarah tbh. Meh.
The Stats:

1) Buried by rocks in a quarry explosion.
