Day 09 – A Who-Related Photo That Makes You Angry/Sad



This photo makes me so upset, I won't even post it here.

This takes place during Davros' "stunning revelation" about the Doctor. Stunning amount of BS is more correct. This is one the things that upsets me about New Who. The revisionist view of canon. (Like the Doctor always leaves his companions behind. Nope, don't think so.) The Doctor is continually shown to receive not only ingratitude for his efforts, but varying degrees of indictment and distrust. Torchwood is the best example of this: Thanks for everything, but I don't approve of smiling, so get out so I can make sure you are hunted down forever more.

Anyway, back to the photo. When I see this scene I just want to yell at Ten: Why are listening the to the nonsense that loser Davros is spouting? (More to the point: why are we?) Remember him? The guy you were ordered to assassinate for the sake of the future? The unrepentant sociopath? The person who committed genocide against his own people in order to clone mutilated versions of them? Yeah, he's reliable, totally.

So that's it, rant over. But that's probably my main issue with New Who.
