I was clearing out my google doc's and found this, originally written for

Rose squinted her eyes open, dreading the much too soon arrival of morning, (although living on the TARDIS was like crossing the international dateline hourly and twice before breakfast, so what did "morning" mean, really) rolled over to look at her clock, (which helped her quite a lot, despite how silly a clock in a time machine sounded) realized she had only been asleep for an hour and that it wasn't morning after all and happily shut her eyes and went back to sleep..
